10 WEEKS OF EMOTIONAL REDUCTION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL MANAGEMENT

DBT-BASED THERAPY

(Using therapeutic interventions drawing from the evidence-based models of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Somatic Experiencing as well as theoretical models of Attachment Theory and Evolutionary Theory)

INTERVENTIONS FOR:

  • Disruptive mood shifts (frequent emotional reactivity)

  • Intense and prolonged periods of anger, shame, disgust, sadness and/or fear

  • Destructive urges to relieve anxiety (aggressive outbursts, retreat and isolation, self-harm, etc.)

  • Compulsive habits to “feel better” (drug use, extreme eating and starvation tendencies, impulse shopping, endless social media/scrolling, excessive sex, chaotic relationships, perfectionism, etc.)

  • A diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder, BiPolar Disorder, Mood Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Autism, ADHD, PTSD, etc.

  • Trauma (acute, generational, and generalized).

10-WEEK PROGRAM (GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL THERAPY COMBINED):

  • 1 opening session (optional)

  • 1 hour and 50 minutes of group therapy, once a week, for 10 weeks

  • 50 minutes of individual therapy, once a week, for 10 weeks

10-WEEK INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM

  • 1 opening session (optional)

  • 50 minutes of individual therapy, once a week, for 10 weeks

BOOSTER SESSIONS

  • Following the program, booster sessions are recommended on a as-needed basis
